I got everything back together and we are good to go!. I do have a small issue. The speedo seems a bit laggy but mainly on decel. Is this something repairable with like speed cable lube or is this something internal to clustor or speedo wire? Before I change the speedo it was not laggy.

Just run it for a while and see if it gets better with use.
Typically lag on decel is more perceived than actual. If there's lag on acceleration when it gets cold, a little clock lube (2 drops) on the cylinder that the cable connects to to help lubricate the bushing in it will sort it. WD-40 sometimes gets the job done by just cleaning the damn thing out. You will have to pull the cluster and get direct access to the speedometer to do this. Definitely take the lens plate off the cluster before doing anything if not taking the speedometer head completely out of the cluster (preferred). But yeah, a little dab will do ya. Clean it and it should help.
I'd just run it if it's pretty accurate otherwise currently. The less you mess with the dash, the longer it will last.
