    Gear selector

    ​​ ​​​​​​​Gear selector piece broke tried super glue no good so i made a cast mold and now it’s solid aluminum.now the other gear selector piece broke .

    Maybe I am being dense and you can provide some photos because I haven't a great idea as to what you are talking about.

            I'm assuming half of what you are talking about is the arm that sticks off the side of the shift rod where the little cable for the indicator hooks?

            not sure what other piece you mean unless its the collar thats always broken.

                Yup... Those pictures worked.

                Nice work on the casting. Those plastic bands always break. Zip-tie or radiator worm clamp will make it stay. IIRC, when the one in the 88 MGM I had went, it broke in a couple of places and I put a radiator clamp over it since the screw and clip bits were broken off as well.
