nah... ford just used an odd screw hole spacing for their factory 6x9s. I don't think they started using 6x8s until the aero bodies and those, just in the doors.

dunno mang, I tried to swap them for Ford 6x9 speakers and they no fit. The factory 6x9 was longer.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

Wagon rear is 6x8. I've done this and they fit under the grille.91 Mercury CP, Lopo 302, AOD, 3.08LSD. 3g upgrade, Moog wagon coils up front, cc819s in the back. KYB GR-2 police shocks. Energy suspension control arm bushings. Smog deleted.Originally posted by gadget73
