    New dash for "Watchdog's" car...

Jason found a new dash for his car in the junk yard.. and it is in great shape. since he has to do the heater core, we are going to do both tommorow.... so he will have heat and defrost that works again. We will take step by step photos of the swap, and post them to the forum, maybe they can get "stickied" so others can find the swap photos easier.... More later... probably at least on Wed. when I'm at work... I'll post the photos for something to do while I'm at work....

What year/model of car are you talking about?

It is a 1991, so the whole dash has to come out to replace it... (the dash) and we all know about the heater core!

Nice weather today, (75 degrees, partly cloudy) so we have Jason's car in my back yard... He has to replace his heater core, so since you have to take the dash out to replace it, he went and found a new dash for his car from the junkyard, since his is in such bad shape... He has the old dash loose, unhooking everthing behind the dash right now, about to take the old one out...

The new dash is in really nice shape, so it will look good in his car.

The only thing that doesn't work after re-assembly is the 4 way flasher, and the lights for the A/C controls... probably bumped the bulb and broke the element.... 4 ways, maybe the flasher is loose.... or got bumped hard and it also went out.... other than that, it all works....
