    Headunit with rear usb and bluetooth mic in 90 marquis ls

    I bought a kenwood kdc x996 for my car and just would like to know if its possible to run the rear usb cord through the glove box somehow thanks

    i dont see why not. i have mine run to the glove box on both cars. its just a matter of fishing the cable over the short distance.

      feed it from the glove box area (remove the glove box first) to the head-unit area. Much easier that way.

        If you tend to use your glovebox often I wouldn't it. I have mine ran under the dash and down the trans hump but I also have a 9ft cord

          This. The glove box is only held on by a few screws along the bottom of the hinge.

            just need to clear the bump stops... you can leave the hinge on.

                Don't fuck with the hinge. Getting that thing to line up sucks... Just take the box stops out and let the box hang down.

                  I have removed the glove box entirely due to broken locks and have never had an issue getting it to line up at all. Unlucky with the lock internals snapping, lucky with the line up maybe?
