    Would this be compatable, with my '88?
    My motor is burned....making a ""click, Click" sound and doesnt move......

    Yes it would be compatible.

    However, if you're getting clicking noises the little transmissions that the motors run into probably just need cleaned.

      Yeah it's probably worth taking it all apart and cleaning it up. I did that on my 79 Continental way back when and it started working again. It still was a little slow, but free is for me.
