my dash was so screwed. I had to trim off all the curled up bits to get it to lay flat. Can't tell to the longevity since I sold the car though. I imagine it's fine though. It's pretty stout.

I agree, that came out great! Thanks for bumping it or else I would have missed it.
I have been skeptical of the overlays but after seeing this I am definitely interested

I'm impressed with how the Coverlay dash cover is working for you. Our dash pads are getting harder to find in decent shape.

Edit: looks like it may be Dashtop...
I have one of these door panel caps on one of the lincolns. I had to trim it so it would fit and look better. It has held up pretty good. If I had not trimmed it, it would have been quite evident that a cap was put on.

I do like it. If I blacked out the edge of the original, It would blend in much better.

Yup think that's the company in question.

Also have a couple of these coverlays in the garage from junkyard visits.

Also have a mint late 80sTC dash pad in dark blue with a small crack over one dash speaker. Was too nice to leave. Rest of dash mint. Someone here want it?

Btw that cover lay install looks really good. Excellent job!

I really should get this for my dash and door panels in my Lincoln.
Biggest flaws in the car at this point.

RockAuto has the hookup on the dash cap (currently).

But you're doing that yourself. It really is pretty simple. Just have to be mindful of the screws.

I'll double check the location of the sensor hole. But it looks right on mine.

^^^Better at least pay the dude with lots of drinks of his favorite choice lol.

Looks really nice. Lincoln Larry sent me their info but after looking at the price for one I shy'd away and bought a dash mat from Dash Mat and well the fit isn't right as the Autolamp sensor hole is off about 1.5" so gotta get them on the horn... Larry said his dropped right on and hasn't moved without any adhesives but in your case the pad was about as fucked as fucked gets haha.
