The door chime for my car is going out and making a really annoying sound. Where is it located so i can un plug it and eventually replace it?

In a Towncar its located behind the radio. On a GM/CV, according to the manual it is located "on the lower instrument panel reinforcement just to the left of the panel center line". So I assume that means its on that plate near the gas pedal.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
