My '89 doesn't have a temp gauge and I want to install one. I bought an electrical one but, it comes with a sending unit that you are supposed to put in place of the stock one in the intake. What happens if I unplug the one wire going to the current sensor. Isn't that needed for the computer?

ditto - the one for the computer is located in the heater hose pipe neck on the other side of the intake manifold.Pete ::::>>> resident LED addict and CFI defector LED bulb replacements
