20.1 mpg with axle gear ratio commonly found in tow trucks and such is pretty darn impressive I'd say. Bet you weren't going exactly slow either, were you? lol

There were times I was up around 67 mph just to get past the trucks that were going to have to pass me right back on the downhill. I had forgotten to check the pressure on the tires when I put them on this summer and just eyeballed the tread (tires are marked LEFT since they're directional) and was running 36psi front & 32 or 33 rear, whoops.

I usually run the fronts about 5 lbs high to combat understeer. You have non stock size tires though, so what is your base line psi?

I was running 32 front 36 rear last year apparently. Tires say 'max 44 psi' what should I be running? The 31/35 stock pressure front/rear?

            I just got the KOEO codes and 81, 82, & 95 showed up. Continuous memory had 41 & 95.

81 & 82 I can probably ignore "air diverter solenoid fault", 95 is "fuel pump secondary circuit fault." 41 is "HEGO (HO2S) sensor out of range/always lean or No H2OS switching detected"

81 and 82 are interesting as they're plugged in. Maybe they were unplugged at the computer side? 95 is cause someone was lazy and didn't wire the computer pin to the output of the fuel pump relay. 41 is what concerns me.

I would imagine that the factory settings for a 92 would be close enough. Keep an eye on wear patterns, center wear too much pressure, edges not enough.

I don't know if the oxygen sensors got burned clean before the exhaust was hooked up, but it was running rich for years so they could be gummed up

The exhaust has no cats, just headers, 2.5" custom H-pipe, turbo mufflers, & Impala SS over axle & out the back.

In other news, the Stars & Stripes TC headrests (cleaned them up with Lexol) look great in the '82 Mark VI (even though they're white with blue piping and the seats are a cream colour). Click image for larger version

maybe a loose connection on the extended o2 sensor harness?
they make an o2 sensor with a super long harness for the lincoln mk7's.

Those head rests are nice, but yeah... wrong color. As for the codes... I'd check wiring to make sure something didn't come undone or fell on something hot and got burnt.

Lazy/dinked sensors are a possibility, or bad wiring. usually I've found that codes from the sensors are legit but when there is a possibility of wiring issues that goes out the window.

Do we know which side is the O2 code for? The super-long harness is the passenger side, it's longer than a Mk7 harness even, tho a Mk7 one may just reach. Kinda tight fit there with the exhaust next to it, wiring has to run between the fuel lines to keep from falling onto the header...
