    Hello from Philadelphia, PA!!

    HI there!!

I am an owner of a 1989 Mercury Grand Marquis GS. I acquired my Merc from my Aunt Mary, hence her name, "The Queen Mary"!

She bought her new and took excellent care of her. She has 38,626 original miles and is in just about as great a condition as you can imagine. I don't have an pictures of handy on this computer but will try and get some up soon.

I joined here to see if I can find some info about some small things I would like to fix, and I am looking forward to looking thru the site.

    So….. HELLO!!!

          Thanks, guys!

I was looking thru my computer but I think all my pictures are on my older imac, so I'll have to take a bunch more new ones for ya! Not a bad way to spend an afternoon!

She was her "daily driver" though she obviously never drove too far, daily! Haha!

There are the expected two tiny door dings (god I hate parking lots! When I do drive her I drop my passengers by the door of wherever we are and park so far away I might as well have walked! You know.. the spot with one side sheltered by a grassy median, so far away no one even ventures to that area of the parking lot. Best parking spots in the house! ). But, my main issue is wanting to repair the stitching on the Landau top that has worn away.

I've been searching a bit on here and did see a thread talking about this issue, but it is a couple years old and I think the project may have been decided against. I just wrote a new post for the exterior forum about the same issue, hoping to see if anyone has since done any work like this and try and get the discussion started again.

Thanks for the greetings. You seem to have a nice forum going!
