If this is an original California car (says it as registered in Cali since inception) it just further confirms that only the California 4 door sedans received mass air in 90 and 91. So odd.


Whats crazy is that it is clean yet has enough dents in assorted panels to total it out. lol

DSO is 71 which seems to stand for LA, it would seem like a California wagon.

It's in decent/nice shape but nothing I would deem extraordinary for the price it's up to. If these prices keep climbing, it may become a good financial decision to put rocker panels and floors my 88 revive it's road status.

The wagon has the 1991 only silver painted wheels. Either its a 91 or the wheels were added. WagonMan

According to the VIN, 10th character = M, this is a 1991 model year. So the clear corners have been swapped for amber at the very least, possibly the entire header panel if the header panel was damaged at some point.

'91s were built stupid early. The Scab was built 4/1990 but is a 1991 model year. It's possible the seller is confusing the manufacture date on the door tag for the model year.

Just watched one of the videos. There is some damage on the passenger side, so likely that headlight/turn signal housing needed to be replaced and they opted to change the driver side to match.

And the pictures do include the door tag. 7/90 is '91 model year.

Also, there isn't a good shot of the driveshaft, but I think I see a steel driveshaft, which is strange considering this is a '91 by VIN and build date. Maybe wagons did not get the aluminum driveshaft if that is steel on there?

There used to be a Ford plant in South Central Los Angeles not too far from LAX. I don't know what year it closed. Maybe this was one of the last built there. The property sat vacant for many years.My 1975 Ford LTD was built there. The land is hotels and business centers now. Should have made it a homeless camp. The area is one step up from that anyhow.
License plate frame says Palm Springs, which is out in the dessert. Mostly a retirement community.

First character of the VIN is 2, means it was built in Canada. STAP of course, 11th character = X.

Los Angeles. The car was originally intended to be shipped to that district to sell, and is usually (but not always) sold by a dealer in that area. Still manufactured in good old Canada.
