i used greased lightning. that cleaned up everything really well.
i used a light coat of primer gray, then some rattle can 500 degree grabber green.
i have one of those spray paint can triggers. they work well.
yeah, its just spray paint. but it looks damn good. no runs!
i'd like to do the pan, and all the bolts and lines in flat black.
did you know they now sell power coating kits at harbour freight?!?!?! awesome!!!

the kit with the spray gun was $70-80. but the paint powder, or whatever it is, is $5 a can. its about 16oz too. they had white, black, yellow, and red.
Yeah. You'd better have a second oven when you do it - one that's dedicated to just powder coating because once you cure it that oven is always going to stink and have those fumes in it. If you cook with it, all your food is going to have the taste of those fumes.
