    Half HO swap

Hello, I am new here, anyways i got a 1987 GM for a few hundred bucks and wanted to get a little more power out of it. I was wondering if e7 heads and HO upper intake would make a decent difference with stock cam, or if it would even work at all.

A buddy of mine has some old 86 mustang stuff he said i can pretty much have, It includes a set of heads swapped at 30k miles quite a few years ago that have been sitting in his basement, along with upper intake, tb and 1.7 RR.

Can i use this stuff without a cam or computer for a while until i can afford to get the other parts?

    Thanks

intake and exhaust has worked pretty well for a lot guys. Heads would be good but as they were on an 86 stang, confirm that they are not E6's. check out the HO conversion faqs and new members section. And Welcome dood.

The upper intake would be somewhat of a help. Its not as large as the later one, but its probably good for an otherwise stock engine. Its better than what you have at any rate. The rockers also won't hurt you any, especially if you can get them for free.

My 85 is sure peppier than my 91, and the 91's motor is relatively fresh. All the 85 has is the Ho upper/TB and shortie header-ed exhaust... I can't wait to get 3.55's and the E7s on!!
