Ok just got off the phone with edelbrock he said that as long as we do not go over 96lbs of seat pressure we will be fine. can anyone tell me what is the seat pressure of the factory explorer camshaft? thanks

Seat pressure is determined by the springs, not the cam. Whatever amount of force your springs exert at their installed height will be your seat pressure. Here's one article on springs that came up after a cursory search: http://50mustangsuperfords.automotiv...ght/index.html

What does Edelbrock tech support have to do with recommending springs for a factory hydraulic roller camshaft?
