    Turn Signal Lever

Howdy, silly new guy question here...

And I'm not exactly sure where it goes....

Anyway I'm changing the dimmer switch in the steering column in my 1988 LTD Crown Victoria and I'm having trouble taking the lever off. I should have to turn the stalk towards me and pull out correct?

I can't get it by hand and I'm afraid too work at it too hard and snapping it off. I figure I'd ask here first.

As you can tell I haven't done anything like this before...

    Thank you.

Once you have the steering column collar off, there should be some little spring tab to push to let you slide it out. I usually just yank them out though... haven't broken any yet

the high/low beam switch thats built into the turn signal switch is also known as a dimmer switch or a dipping switch, depending which side of the pond you're on.

Oh. That makes sense then. Yeah I just yank it out in one swift movement. Worked fine for me plenty of times.
