i got some heads for my HO conversion, and around the air intake ports on the far ends, there is some gasket material that will just not come off. I soaked the heads for 2 days in Greased Lightning as well. Im thinking about having them professionally blasted and milled. any advice?

the scotchbrite gasket grinders are great, but you have to get the big crap off with a scraper first. I actually have used putty knives run on the grinder to put an edge on them as a gasket scraper. Works darn well cuz you get a nice handle but its only good for bigger crap. Paint scrapers that use regular razor blades work really well too.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
