Nah, the biggest PITA is getting them on and NOT hitting everything. Changing the plugs is easy. 5 minutes on my old 87 with MAC equal lengths.

              ok this is retarded,

the guy emailed me saying the shop dropped the motor on its side and it ruined one of the headers

may be true, may not. i requested pics.

as i won the auction for 102$ us i fear he may be trying to snake me out of a deal

Nope trucks are different. The guy prolly got a better offer and is selling them to someone else. I'd definately get pics.

seperate flange headers have major warpage issues. Scott and I were looking at a set he had sitting there, and the bolt holes aren't in anything close to a straight line. They'd be a real bitch to get mounted up. Maybe other brands are better but I've heard lots of bad things about MAC headers, and the set I saw that were all screwed up were MAC. Oddly factory stock headers are seperate flange and those puppies don't seem to have major warpage issues.

                          theyre mac

and they are going on the engine while it is out of the car so i dont have any problem with cranking them on. shouldnt be too different than the fitment issues i have when we hammer the hondas together :drug:
