Car looks good mang...But it should say BIG BLUE TANK on the side...Cause these cars aren't too big at all. They're just right.

    Sucks about the block.

Used both stock and forged pistons.
I've got a 70 302 short block and can't get 20 bucks for the damn thing. In great shape too. Gonna scrap it soon.

            OOps!!

That shit will buff right out!

That's what happens with 450hp and 7200 rpms on a stock block.
Hope the new engine is as good as that one was.
Speed cost....how fast u wanna go??

It's not how much hp u have...
It's how much hp u can put to the track...

Let's seperate the men from the boys and put that power to the track using street tires and stock suspension components

Also, took the tranny apart just to be safe. The tranny guy found a broken drum & two broken stador supports. Just so y'allcan get an idea of how big the boom was.

Figured as much, better check and make sure the drive shaft isn't warped or anything. That kind of shock is felt throughout. At the shop my dad works at, there was a F-150 with a bustedcrank that came in, needed everything. tranny, rear end, and engine.

Looks like the forging was bad. See the pattern in the last pic of the second post? that is the evidence. That was seen in a 350 stroker here not all that long ago. 4340 Eagle internal balance crank in that car (a craparo). Broke in literally the same place.

You need a 460 mang! Too much power!!!

Did it work? That's all that matters- as long as it'll seal enough to get off the trails and home, it's good enough.

After I got rear-ended in my Vic I used duct tape to patch a hole in my gas tank. Always carry a roll of duct tape with you, you never know when you may need it.
