          Thanks for the comments.
I found the trunk lid at a local junk yard for $40. It's off a 86 Grand Marquis. My other one was rusting really bad.
It weigh's 3400 with me in it. As you can see, it still has the door panels, but the crush bars & all electronics were cut out. Carpet stayed, but all the sound proofing stuff under it was also cut out.

That is a neck brace around the steering column & the switches are for the line-loc, water pump, cooling fan, lights, ect.
I had to replace the "comphy" seet when I put the roll bar in.

"Planning on painting it dark blue & nameing the car."
              Name it what?

Have a few questions for you.

What is that red wire hanging from the steering wheel? Delay box? Trans brake?

              What intake is that?

Who's heads did you use and why that brand over all the others on the market?

Did you hand build some long tube hedders or modify a set from another application?

Care to give some cam specs? It is a solid roller right?

IIRC, you have a C-6. Who's and how much convertor?

              Stock gears in the tranny?

How much initial timing? Total? All in by when?

What are you using for rear control arms?

How did you adjust the pinion angle?

              What springs f&r?

              AWESOME videos!!!!!!!

What is that engine turning in the traps?

              How tall are those tires?

Sure would like to get a good close up of that car!!
Speed cost....how fast u wanna go??

It's not how much hp u have...
It's how much hp u can put to the track...

Let's seperate the men from the boys and put that power to the track using street tires and stock suspension components

                  I am sure.
But I am willing to bet he has more $$ in his engine than I have in my entire car for ~100hp more.

Mine was built from J/Y, swap meet, yard sale 'stuff'.

That last 100hp gets VERY expensive
