    Yeah, probably have to come by GMN Express to be cost-effective.

    TOTCG told me he got this 'shaft at a driveshaft shop in or near Valparaiso for something like $115. Seems I may have the receipt, but I don't remember for sure. For that matter, I don't even remember whether it was scratch-built or modified from an Aero piece.

        I can tell you that I currently have a 1987 Town car driveshaft next to a 00' P71 Vic aluminum driveshaft, and the P71 Aluminum shaft is 2.5 inches ( approximately) shorter. Disappointed.

          There are driveshafts right by you for $75.

                2.5 inches shorter would probably work fine. Every look at truck lift kits? Up to 6 inches higher on the stock shafts.

                  Wrong is wrong even if everyone is doing it.....
                  Besides, 6" of lift on a truck is not going to pull the shaft out 2.5"...

                  2.5" short is NOT OK. You do not have that much extra spline to properly engage...
