I'm going today to get civilian arms. Would the pi be better or easier to get bushings for?

If I use 02 upper arms what dos I use to bolt them to the chassis since they don't work like the earlier models?

use your original control arm shafts......you will have to grind the shaft a little bit to fit thru the metal sleeves after you burn the rubber bushings out

or you can harvest some 92-94 upper control arms, but heck use what you got......the 96-02 upper ball joints are cheaper

i always leave 95 out because that was the suspension changeover year.....i'm not sure what date they changed over in 95

Ok cool so I have 02 upper arm, spindel, and caliper. I can use the 4.3153 bushing for the upper and original bottom control arm. Correct? Should I take the '02 sway bar or anything else off this car while in here?

Also can I use the 02 lincolns lower control arm? Just to clean up and paint cause the oringinal one looks like crap.

lower arms are the same from 79-02, so no problem there. The only difference in the bushing sets is the ones included for the upper arm.

You can pull the later model bar, but you need later model endlinks to make it work. We did that on something, and it handled very nicely from what I remember. Don't recall which bar was used though, but I'm thinking it was a larger hollow bar from a taxi.

one of the bushings on the 98-02 lower arm is different, but it will bolt up. problem is you would need two bushing kits.......a 92-97 kit (btw energy suspensions listing is incorrect) and a 98-02 kit
me thinks i need to have a big brake conversion podcast or something

Lol a podcast would sure help me. This is my daily driver so I get one chance to get this right. So I guess my final concern is if I use the 02 upper And lower control arm then part number 4.3153 will cover all the bushings I need, right?
