Would anyone go against that. Why?
Wont really hurt anything. Im trying to find the shortest, widest tire for a 15" wheel that is still reasonibly priced. Something under 27"

The biggest problem I have is how is it going to look. Is it going to make the wheel unbearably huge looking? Is it goign to look stupid wuth a short profile in the front? How much of a rake would I possibly get for profile height. Say it was a 225/60 and a 245/60 What kinda rake am I looking at?

        225/60-16:
        Sidewall: 5.3"
        Radius: 13.3"
        Diameter: 26.6"
        Circumference: 83.7"
        Revs/mile: 757.0

        245/60-16:
        Sidewall: 5.8"
        Radius: 13.8"
        Diameter: 27.6"
        Circumference: 86.6"
        Revs/mile: 731.0

Difference at axle level will be 0.5", so at the bumpers I'd say you'll get up to 1" rake. I've seen a box MGM in the junkyard with 215/70-15 (stock size) rear wheels, and 215/60-15 fronts, it looked pretty darn good in my opinion.

I'll have to try it. I have 225/70/15's on right now. Too tall. I wat to do 15 inch tires. I don't have 16 inch rims yet. Not for a long while. I was going to do the same thing but with 15s. 225/60 245/60 (originally I was going to do 225/65, and 245/60.. Those are just about the same. But I didn't get a rake from the suspension so now I want i fom the tires.)

The 225/60-15 + 245/60-15 combo will also give you the same rake as the 16" ones. If you want a little more rake put 255/60-15 in the back, they're stock height (27") and with the front 225s they'll have like 1.5" difference in diameter.

Just play with this before you buy tires: http://www.eunos.com/tirecalc/

Hmmmmm. I didn't want to go crazy on tires right now. I think 255s are weridly more than 245's. I just want something good now so my car dosn't hop and wobble from the shitty tread. I wish Ihad 16 inch rims so I could go ahead and buy tires for them. Than i could do my brake swap as well. I WANT BULLITS!

What do those static strips do?
