Thanks 85, but I couldn't read it. I will just wait for the sticky.

In the mean time some better pics.

Thanks. It is pretty easy. You nee a couple of fresh razor blades some good masking tape and a newspaper. I first did it on an 85 fox ltd, and liked how it turned out. I probably never would have done it, if it hadn't had some wierd chemical reaction going on with the gray paint in the grill that turned a sickly green.

I used to do them in flat black but that automotive satin black looks much better IMHO, besides the flat black always seems to fade to gray in a couple of years.

31s! Damn no wonder! I didn't think they were that tall, guess I'm just used to seeing them on a 15" wheel.

I told you how to get the front up man. I can take pics of my buddies wagon thing and show you in detail now. Looks pretty good to me. We actaully have his sitting higher than his truck does. For now.

I tried the spacers, the big ones hit the shock, the small ones fall out.

I just got a couple blocks of plastic from an industrial supply house and will machine a spacer for the spring to rest on at the top.

At the moment I still need to pick up some shorter lug nuts, and grind a bit off the end of the stock lugs to make it fit right.

Huh, they work fine on his car. Good luck with it. Ive heard f150 springs fit in the stock location.

                            Thanks!

The spacers I am making should work just fine, and will hopefully retain some of the smooth ride.

If for some reason that doesn't work out I will be looking for springs.

Just knock off that stop so you get the extra travel to lift it higher.

I cut the stops off right after I got all the info from you.

I appreciate you going out of your way to take pics, and send me all the info, but for some reason my springs seem to be a slightly smaller diameter. I doubt it is the shocks as they look patheticly skinny as it is.

Just as I was typing that, I had another thought. (smacks self in head) Maybe the twist in spacers I bought were longer. I'll compare them to some from a different store today. If it works, I might just save myself a lot of work.
