    My lights!!!

I just put in 3 out of the 4 led lights in my dash but when I put that fourth one in the fuse gets blown out the number on the fuse is five, what can I do to get that fourth one in? Should I put a bigger fuse like a 10, 15, or a 20 and what will happen?please help thanks!!

Sounds like you've got a defective bulb or something. LEDs use a fraction of the current the standard bulbs use, so theres no reason you should need a larger fuse. Never do that anyway, the fuses were selected to protect the circuit. Putting in a larger fuse could allow wiring or something to melt, and that would be bad.

I think something similar happened to me when i installed my LEDS. I think it was because the bulb wasn't sitting correct, or something like that. Just keep trying. Like Gadget said they have little to now draw so you should leave in the 5 amp fuse

the metal legs on the plastic wedge bases like to bend out of place (especially if you are cramming them into the sockets blindly) and they can easily bridge the contacts in the socket. I had one of the cheap bulbs pop and start smoking right away once, so they could short internally. I like to test them before installing them now.
