I've got a headlight issue on my 1982 GM. When I turn on my lights, only the passenger side bulb works, which led me to believe the other one was just out. But when I turn on the high beams, all four lights work. What kind of magic is this, and how can I fix it? Thanks.

the driver side bulb is a dual beam. Only the inner bulbs have one beam (high). The outer ones have high and low... so yes, you may still need a headlight.

If you swap the bulb with the one on the opposite side of the car (swap inside for inside or outside for outside) you should get the same results with that bulb plugged in to the other side of the car.
