    Painted the 04's grille

I painted the chrome slat grille on my '04. I like how it came out. I'm working on the honeycomb now to see which one I like best.

    Here's the slat grille:

The header panel needs to be done too. (Ford paint :nonono

The duplicolor paint is an awesome match to the factory paint. I will be doing more trim and possibly taillights if I can find some for cheap. Anyone got any?

Looks good, mang! Though I really do prefer a black honeycomb grille. I just find that they really look tough that way.

Man I'm glad I don't have to make that decision...they both look great. I do like the honeycomb done up like that. Wonder how one would look all painted, tho. We have a guy here in PA with hammertone silver on the inside, that looked cool.

They both look great! Are the rims on your car original factory parts?

The rims are the factory ones from an '05 Mustang GT.

Well, they were a great choice. Your car has a great look to it - mean, but kind of classy too. Very nice all around!

                            Painted grill

That is the exact same color as the wife's LSE. I was wondering how it would look with the grill painted to match instead of chrome.

Will have to see the custom painter now to see if he has some of that Gold Pearl left to paint her grill.

                            I like the slats!!

I like the honeycomb grille. Gives it a tougher look, kinda like a PI.
