    Teh Product!

If you were to recommend 1 product that every car owner should have for their car...what would it be?
for me I would Meguiars Quick Detailer...shines it up nice and smells great!

But Armor-All's wheel cleaner is grrreat for wheels/tires..makes the cleaning effortless.

The vinyl on my old Vic was in bad shape, armour all couldn't have done any more damage(i'm guessing, I never used the stuff).

My top was decent until I put some Mothers crap on there. Then she cracked up in about two months.

Armor-all is petroleum based, vinyl is petroleum based, it will dry the vinyl out and also make it slimy. also if you ever put armor-all on vinyl it will never be able to be repaired. Anytime we get a cushion or panel to repair and it has had armor-all on it the only option is to recover it.

read the back. If it says Contains Petroleum Distillates then it is petroleum based.

Aerospace 303 protectant is the best stuff to use, non-petroleum based.

and vinyl is usually not meant to be shiny, of the 100+ books of vinyl (each book contains 50-200 vinyl samples) we have only about 50 vinyls are actually shiny, and those normally have a thick clear layer over the color. the vast majority of vinyl is semi-gloss at best.

I used to have this stuff, it was supposed to be for convertable tops but I used it on the inside, smelled good like a refined taste, my friends said it made it smell like an old mans car but I liked it.
I cant remember what it was called, I wanna say Dura-Gloss???
