Lee's Bodywork on Babyblue

Started the work on smoothing the center piece of the trunk. Keep in mind she's a 94, so it's plastic. Now most of my mods are going to be interchangeable.

Started out, I removed the plastic center piece. Sanded it down. Masked off the the black rubber piece. I did a layer of Bondo (keep in mind this is the first time)

Plans are when I get it done and smoothed. I will paint it flat black and added some Clear Coat to it. Now in the future when I get all the bodywork done I will have the car and the center piece of the trunk done body color.

Tell me what you think. I"m currently doing finiching it. Will have pics in about a week or two. Or I'll do them on my cell. lol

I will have more pics later, it's a pain in the ass to sand smooth by hand. I was up until 5 am and I'm not close to done

And here is the other pic with it painted. It's not smooth smooth. but it's good enough for now.

Can you post bigger pics? What am I looking at exactly? Center piece of the trunk.... you mean the area between the taillamps where the license plate goes ?

Sorry pics are on my cellphone. But on Babyblue, the license plate is on the bumper but I will post a pic of the ass-end
