Sly, I had a temp control relay set up, but it only lasted two years. Winters are a bit harsh on it. And I rarely use it. But when I need it, I really need the fan. So manual high-low switch it is.
Plus, I have a small affinity for switches.

Stuff. I need to finish up the wiring. Mainly because it was 4am and I was getting tired. Vacuum gauge works like a boss!
        Plans for the evening:
-Finish up wiring while car is cooling.
        -Remove driveshaft
-Remove extension shaft housing. Remove old crap seal. Powder coat LIME GREEN.
-Install new seal and reinstall housing.
        -Install new MMC driveshaft.
-Sand stuff. And maybe paint them as well.

These supposedly fit the box as well. Or so I've heard...

I did have to trim it on the back side to clear the drivers side sway bar bracket.
If I ever find another, I'd like to try and test fit one on a box just because.

Ok, did a compression test tonight.
                    Results:

                    1: 146
                    2: N/A*
                    3: 160
                    4: 168
                    5: 168
                    6: 146
                    7: 171
                    8: 168

                    *

                    Supposed to look like this:

                    Actually looks like this:

                    Something doesn't look right:

The end of the boot came apart and was stuck on the #2 plug. So I said screw it, it's staying in there. That's why there's no compression on #2.

                            Next Level

                            Yup.
                            Here we go.

Here are the templates for the lower grille block* and the wheel wells; front of wheels. The wheel well panels are inverted: the curved part should be on the outside of the car, not the inside.

The lower grille block will be installed with nutplates so I can remove** it if I ever have to. It just occured to me that it may actually help out in the winter.
                            Temp installed for fitment:

These wheel well blocks will be secured and they clear the tires by a good two inches or so. That is after the wheels have hit the stops. I'm not too concerned with wheel rub.

I put them in there just to test the fitment as well. After these are all attached, the Tank will be completely panelled off from the cross-member forward.

*I'm not worried about overheating as well. I do have the MarkVIII fan wired up. And there are still enough spaces around the front end that the 4800CFM fan will pull air from.
                            **see "Removable".

The lower grill I'd have probably let be, but the other panels should help. The underside aerodynamics of really any vehicle are pretty much shite, and smoothing that out can't help but improve economy. The trick is making them durable enough to work, but easy enough to remove that you can actually still work on the vehicle.

What are these made of, aluminum ?
