Well I was punching it a lot and it didn't even flinch lol It held up fine to my brutality but only time will tell if it lasts.....

And the soundproofing is definitely working. When the car was just regular with the volume turned to 15 and above you could here everything crystal clear outside of the car, but now everything is totally muffled. I still have the upper interior 1/4 window area to sound proof as well as the insides of the doors.

you need the older woodgrain center and relocate your horn button to the turn signal stock.

I use my horn way too much just to protect the car daily. Hate to go reaching for it all of the time on the stalk. I do really like the old ones though.

Even if it does flake, it's hardly the most difficult thing to remove and repaint.

                Looks good too.

                  0-60 VIDEO

Actually went up to just under 75 in the video and let off near the end

0-60 In 8-9 seconds. Not too shabby for a t lok, 3.08's, a shift improver kit, dual exhaust, '09 Police air intake with a K&N, and an HO upper intake with matching equipment. :megadeth:

This was not shot taken down hill. Completely level ground.

                    Nice results.

But it looks so much quicker when the needle is sweeping accross a speedo that only goes to 85 lol

Thanks. And YEAH would look a hell of a lot faster with the old speedo...but after 85 you have no idea of your speed. I did bury the speedo needle on my 85 cluster beneath the fuel gauge that you couldnt see it anymore but what good was that? I had no idea how fast I was going.

I think all I may do with the car is add headers, Hi flow catted H pipe, 2.5 inch exhaust with some magnaflows, 3.73's, some 1.7 roller rockers, those e3 spark plugs, MSD cap and rotor, and some Ford Racing plug wires as well as bump the timing and I would have myself a bad ass ride. May not even go the HO route with the car preforming this well as is.

You going to take it to a track and see what it runs this year? Even if it's just for shit's and giggles.

I don't know. I was at the track last year during Scottfest and before we headed out to the track I was told I needed long pants to race. I didnt have any long pants so I sat out. I was all ready to race though until Scott said long pants were normal attire, though one can get away without them. I am not one for breaking rules so I didn't even bother trying. I really do want to bring it down the 1/4 mile though. Nice smoky burnout to warm up the tires and then hopefully make it down the track without breaking anything. To be honest I have no idea how to even stage the car if that is even the right term. But yes I wanna run the snot out of the car down the 1/4.

That's what I did. Even if pretty much any new economy car or sedan will destroy it. Still was fun.

                                Tach Relocation

I was getting a little annoyed of the tach blocking the speedometer so I moved it a little bit to the right and I get to see most of the speedometer!

                                BEFORE:

                                AFTER:

Plus it does not get in the way of the gear selector! I think I am satisfied with it for now.
