Eek. Are the rear wheels on uneven ground? Looks like a dog trying to scratch an itch. And reminds me of why my P72 looks lousy with wagon springs in the rear.

                      this

I had oil leaking onto the exhuast manifolds within 2 years of using the cork ones.

thanks...right now cork gaskets will be better than leaky original gaskets. it'll get new rubber ones the next time i have the motor apart.

Ditto that... rubber is better than cork, but perma-dry is best (but expensive)... i think they were like 30 bucks when I got them for the 85... but the box was open, they had greasy fingerprints on them, so they gave them to me for half price!

There's a 4000lb paperweight sitting in my driveway!!

Not a fucking chance I'm even going to turn the car over without the TV cable hooked up, so it's going to sit until I get the pieces I need.

Got the tv cable from the junkyard today. The cat that helped me take it off the car only charged me 10 bucks because I gave them the parts car in the first place

yanked out more smog/egr stuff today, but thought I made a mistake because the car would NOT idle properly afterwards. swapped out the new TPS I installed, still won't idle. Swapped out the IAC I installed....bingo. bad iac right out of the box. Emailed RockAuto about it.

It's amazing how much superfluous emissions garbage was on this car. I got rid of 3 solenoids (TAD, TAB, EVR), a pile of colored 1/4" vac hose and associated connectors (Ts and splices), and the vacuum hockey puck from up on the firewall.

I think the only things pulling vacuum now are cruise, brake booster, and fuel pressure regulator.
