And off we go to the other side.
Now when I bought the car, the owner said an exhaust shop had reversed the car into something and damaged the trim around the marker light. He also said the panel had not been damaged.

Heres a photo of the trim just after it was taken off

        and another from the back

        That is a mess.

So, was the metalwork damaged? see for yourself

You bet it was! Difficult to tell from the photos, but it was crumpled around the marker light and the body crease line.

Here it is again after a few hits with a hammer. The masking tape is to stop the british rain from gtting in!

Again, difficult to tell but the crease line is almost straight now, so the rest will follow.

        Andy.

I'm glad that someone is putting this level of workmanship into one of these cars. I am beginning to think that these things will be considered classics in the not too distant future. Of course most folks only begin to get nostalgic once something gets rare.

Anyway, I love the deleted spare tire holder, and just about everything else.
              Once again Andy, I'm impressed.

Heee! When it gets all snowy like that is when my wagon comes out to play! (Doesn't happen very often around here) Mine is a snow beast. A pair of old studs on the rear and I go powersliding around downtown portland.

                        Hi 87gtVIC.
No this is not normal at all. Can't remember when it snowed this bad.

Get used to it. I have a feeling it isn't going anywhere for a while. Snowfall records are breaking all over the place....here in the states, it's getting a bit out of hand, lol.

I was going to ask for a picture of the side of the car, from a bit further away, to see how the lines have been changed with the spare tire well elimination....but obviously that isn't going to happen anytime soon, lol.

Agreed there, wagons are awesome in the snow. Took a whole winter of head-scratching and fits to get the sedan to even pretend to come close.

Still no actual snow accumulation here .... yet ........
