The Cougar was a slightly modified Montego 2 door body... different header/grille, opera window, taillights and interior style. When I ordered my 75 Montego 2 door, I priced it against a Cougar, and decided for nearly a grand more I liked the Montego roofline better. Only a grand? Well I recently found the window sticker...75 Montego MX Brougham coupe with every option except the 460.... $7200!!sigpic'86 GM LS sedan bone stock 113k triple dark sable, most of the bells and whistles, second owner. SOLD 9/10, will be looking for an 89 TC when the time is right

Wow I never knew how expensive they were.
A 460 would have been cool though! All of the avail. motors were pretty torque-y though.

Well Just a small update on the car.
I need to now replace 2 lock actuators sometime soon, Driver door, and rear driver's side, looking forward to that bit of fun

Also I replaced the Multifuction switch in the column, and have a really nice new turn signal lever, thats not peeling all over.

Changed the oil, just hit 147,600 miles!
5 Qts Motorcraft 10W30, and a FL1A filter
Still running great.
