Perhaps you can play with the blackened out grille and paint it red to see if that will look good. But please man.......keep that car off the salty roads; that's what your Chevy is for.

Video time! I've been trying for days to get these damn things uploaded...finally got 'em on the webs.

Exhaust video...duals with Cherry Bomb glasspacks. Although Historic tagged, the car is still compliant to emission standards. So between the four cats and 2" pipes, she ain't loud but has a good tone. Much thanks to Scottmang for the exhaust work.

And an old video of the train horns. This was taken sometime in 2009 (I think), so the system was still 125psi. Note the fins on the corners of the hood going for the retro ornament theme...they did kinda look neat.

the exhaust sounds good. its just funny that, my old 91 merc LSS had a single exhaust set up with a glasspack and yet, was very quiet.

                Fog Lamps

Finally got around to getting the fog lamps installed while doing an oil change and tire rotation.

The lamps are attached to the sides of the bumper guards, so I can't knock 'em off on a curb. These things are almost as bright as the standard headlamps, which is pretty good for $20 Walmart fogs. I'll get a picture or two when I've got daylight, I think they look pretty good on the car; chrome plated to match the bumper and not too big to be obnoxious.

Until I get my color-coded turbines.

I'll probably keep 'em around then for winter use; but, hopefully, the car will be off the road this winter and then even the caps won't see much weather.

                              More Lighting

After a couple weeks of waiting, I've finally received all the necessary LEDs for the tail lights. The reverse lights and brake/tail lights are 36 count LED clusters. The four single tail light bulbs are 9-SMD cluster lights, each cluster containing 3 LEDs (essentially 27 LEDs).

I grabbed a new shot of the coach lamps and courtesy lights. Both are using 5-SMD cluster LEDs.

And then I grabbed a picture of where I mounted the fog lamp switch. The switch lights fairly bright when the fogs are on, so it's easy to remember to turn them off. Everything tucked away neatly, minus immediately behind the switch. I love how the car looks with all six lights lit, very menacing if you ask me. :smirk:

And I may be playing with more lighting fun tomorrow, but I haven't told anyone about that yet...
