give it a good run (some highway time in the 30+ minute range) and 500 miles before the next oil change, throw in some autoRX... then after 500 miles, change the oil and run the autoRX according to it's directions.
If you don't wanna use autorx, sometimes a quart of synthetic will help desludge without working like engine flush (drop all the sludge and clog up everything). At least that's what I've heard. I can't substantiate that one.
