Went up to St Louis to visit with my good friend Brent (visionmercury) and the rest of the Midwest Panther bros. Managed to get many, MANY parts for the build! I scored a set of pedals from a 1980 mustang (for 17 bucks!) and Brent also had a booster/master cylinder off a 00 vic that they parted out. He donated it to the cause, along with a set of used MAC headers. Our last yard also netted me some wagon underhood braces and a open non-two post radio bezel.

Started tearing things down and am going to pull the nasty broken AOD out this weekend. Going to chop the exhaust off today

I have most of my parts ordered. I have about 250 bucks worth of stuff I still need to get (including the UPR offroad X pipe) But I have all of the expensive stuff!

Good luck with the tear down. Do you have some LONG sumbitching extensions to reach the top tranny bolts?

Meh, easy. Hell you can get to some of them from the topside if you really have to. Its easier if you've got your extra long arms on that day tho.

Been reading your build thread, had no idea you didnt still have the blue car. Remember though, I was gone for a LONG time! Glad to see you have a good car, and I love the interior! Hopefully I will be re-joining the Panther game this summer, though I will be remarkably less customized. I'll be watching your progress and rooting for ya Tom!

Update: I removed the bolts from the topside, while I sat on the motor. Too easy

I ran out of time, but only a few bolts still hold the trans in. I deleted the cats today as well, with the help of Mr. angle grinder
