    Package tray question (size)

I am switching my interior color from red to dark blue in my 1986 Vic. I found a 80's something Towncar with a nice blue package tray. Does anyone know if it will fit in my Crown Vic? I know the rear window in the Towncar is flatter, but if the overall dimensions are bigger, I could cut it down to fit my Crown Vic. Help please so I don't waste a trip out to the wrecking yard which isn't very close to home!

i want to say the Towncar one is a little smaller, but without both cars to measure, I'm not positive. You should be able to get a carpeted one out of a Vic or Grand Marq though if you're looking to replace the crappy cardboard stuff.

All I can find right now are 88' - 91' Crown Vics & Grand Marquis. My car is a 1986 and should not have speaker grills.

Towncar ones have speaker grilles too, so no real difference there.

The one I saw in the wrecking yard did not have speaker grills.
