    Did Anyone else know this?

    One of my sill plate emblems is history, so I measured my other and discovered the dimensions are 3"x1". Oddly enough, 65-93 mustangs all have that same size. Mustang reproductions are easy to find on ebay, or at some restoration shops. There are different styles to choose from, and if you feel like paying up and being differnt (and somewhat ricey), you can get repros of the shelby decals, used on the gt350 and gt500.

    Just thought I would point that out lol.

        yes those are it, they are cheaper here though, and they have different styles (including the shelby's)

          Missing one of mine too, but then the sill plastic is busted on both sides so I need to get whole new pieces anyway.

              I assume Lincoln and Merc got the Ford emblems then? I can't remember what was in my Mercury

                      earlier Towncars got Ford emblems. I have a set of sill plates from a Mark VI that say Ford Mark VI. The 82 Towncar I stripped in the yard had Ford plates, but my 86 has Lincoln plates.
