    yes i am not that dumb i got all the connections you need wait till you see the bundle of wire for it. i have both connections.

            Do you guys have any idea on where I can get a new or replacement tripminder for my 88 Crown Vic? I've tried junkyards all over my area and can't find any, nor can I get them from "vintage parts." I don't want to replace it with the plain clock....I'm also looking for a AM/FM/CD for my car too. I currently have the "premium sound system" from the factory combined with a cassette player. I'd really like a Ford CD player to keep it original if possible.

              as far as i know you will have to switch your whole setup if you want a factory cd player and they are very rare.

                well i think the headunit is experiencing a new symptom. everytime i raise the volume on max the sounds cuts out. radio still on just the sound cuts out and if i turn the headunit off then on again it will play sound again but it cuts out again if the volume is at max.

                        How about a dirty spot on the vol switch? Can you remove it and spray tuner cleaner in it??

                            sounds only comes back on after shutting the radio off then turning it back on. when it cuts off the sound. the radio is still on just no sound. i tried switching amps with the good one from the tc and it did the same thing so something i think in the headunit is the problem.
