I tightened the bolts on the roof and checked everything else. All tight. Even stripped the head off one screw that holds the deflector on. Still makes noise.

With the screw stripped, now I have to take the whole fucking roof rack off to get the damn deflector off.

Nope, vice grips will not work. I only recieved 2 screws. I replaced the stock screws with stainless hex button head bolts. It will have to be drilled out.

I will be putting the rack back on. I NEED the rack.

double crap, wonder what is causing the problem, maybe the location of the deflector is too close to the body.

Well, took some tape to it today...The one rail that runs front to back on the drivers side is loose, and the one end piece to the deflector is loose. Nice and quiet drving in today.

My worst enemies are those who presume me to be harmless. They cannot imagine how much I resent and disdain them, or just how great a threat they would face if I could get at them. Everything in their behavior speaks of insult and presumptuousness, and for now it is all I can do to make constructive use of my anger toward them. At this time, I just make a list of them and keep a watch on. Some day, with the help of time, space, and circumstance, I will be able to humiliate them properly - not in a manner they would enjoy, but in a style calculated to make them wish that they had never been born.

Well, I found the issue, and did a temp fix that looks way better than the electrical tape. On the one side, the crosspiece is cracked where the set screw contacts it. I put a piece of a popsicle stick inbetween the set screw and the spoiler. I was going to use a piece of aluminum, but I don't have any stock that is thin enough.

Well, that wasn't it either-it might have been a part of the problem though. The front drivers side foot (where it bolts to the roof) has come loose yet again and has a good amount of play. I'm going to remove the foot and see how I can tighten up the rail where it goes over the foot and put some loctite on the screw.

Adding the spoiler probably caused the problem to escalate. Creating extra pressure on the rails. Some loctite should do the trick.
