I have a 91 GM LS. Currently has the many spoke turbine 15 in wheels.
It is time for new tires. I am thinking about changing the rims also. I thought I would ask your opinion which would look best.
1) the Dukes of Hazard 10 spoke turbine wheels will look. They are 15 x 7. or
2) maybe a set of 15 x 8 steel stock solid wheel like on the old Boss 302 using poverty or dog dish hub caps.
3) chrome 12 slots 14 x 7 from 69 Mach 1. 14 x 8 is available.
4) old school Shelby aluminium slots. 15 x 7 or 14 x 8
also have 2- 15 x 10 indy slots maybe for the rear.
5) 69 Shelby 5 spoke like the torq thrust. 15 x 7
6) last is Bathurst Globe wheels like on the Australian Falcon Cobras. 15 x 7 and 15 x 8 and 2-15 x 10's for the rear.
7) Magnum 500's 15 x 7
Tire size? Currently has 235 75 15. Looking to go smaller size equivalent to the F 60 15 or G 60 15. What tire brand/model? White letters out or black wall?
Will a smaller size tire and wheel (14 inch) make a car seem to accelerate faster? I have 2.79 rear gears.
I thank you,
Mike
