As my post title says, im now the happy owner of a 1985 grand marquis LS with the 351w. its in a bit of rough shape, but I bought this car for the purpose of a father son restore project with my old man. My first memory is of riding in his 79, and up to the point I was 24 he ALWAYS had a grand marquis between the vintage of 87 to 91, just different cars
. Considering this is the first one ive ever seen with the 351 I jumped on it right off. Unfortunately the rings are soft and she burns a bit of oil, but it still fires right up and purrs.
Next year im planning on getting the motor rebuilt, and ill be supply heads, headers, and a new cam among other things when that time comes. Getting the r-134 retrofit too
