Been searching the junkyards for a power brake booster to use in my 88 for the manual transmission swap.
Per my research, the target has been a non-ABS aero. Aeros are hard to come by, and the few I've found are ABS.
Looking up the fitment, I see what is listed for a 1992/94 non-ABS car is the same part listed as a 1995/2000 civilian car (with or without ABS). Is this an error or can I really use one from, say a 1999 MGM?
There is also a police part listed from 1995/2000 as the other alternative for those years. It looks the same as the civilian version from pictures online, with slightly larger diaphragm size listed (8.81 vs 8.79"). Could this part work as well?
There is a 2000 P71 and a 1999 MGM in the yard and I'm hopeful I can make a trip this weekend.
