    Oil

Hey mangs.. Well i think im fixing to have to do a Engine Over Haul...

Checked my oil today and it had two white streaks in it. Im guessing water.. But... I woulda thought that, that would cause all of it to be milky.... Not just two lines and the rest black..

One question first though before i start jumping to conclusions...

Will that "Restore" do something like this?

    Thanks mangs :-D

Was then engine good and warmed up when you found that? If it was cold, it's possible that there was still some water in the oil that hadn't gotten sucked off by the PCV system yet. Drive the car around and get it good and warmed up, and then see if the water is still there.

That $350 would be worth it if the car had any other useful parts on it. But make sure you know what the engine's condition is before you start throwing money at it.

Do you know any vitals on your current engine? Oil pressure, compression, etc? It'd be best to find that stuff out before you rebuild or replace, because you'll know for sure whether you need it or not.

Drain the oil, if it has a lot of white in it then you have a leak, if it only has a few spots then it is probably just condensation.

if the $350 car is not a CFI mobile, I'd drive it instead.

Ok great news. yes really great news ). done my oil change agine.. cost my 26 bucks but eh.. And There was no water in the old oil.. Nern. ) So im betting i was right and that it was a pice of tape. or pices.

And im also glade i did it cause.... The new filter i had put on woulda been a bicth to take loose lator. The ring had allready came loose from the filter and was bounding to the engine block... wtf...

Anyways.. if by chance sum weired white shit apears agine ill let you all know )

oo. And umm "Restore" does actualy make funny colores. Reds and blues Maybey even whites?

Im also guessing that i had some rust up thee in the engine and the sea foam loosened it up. Along with other crap.. And. That would explane a few things as well..

Have any of you ever Freed a lifter or valve? Does it sound like umm. Scrathing a black board?

Thanks mang's for ure support. I still think i might get that other GM though :-D:megadeth:

if your pcv doesn't work or you don't get the engine fully warmed up to cook the moisture out, its going to do that.
