Why would they use the same cam for the 94-95 GT/Cobra Stangs? It seems like they would have used a larger cam for those.

I should have clarified that..... We are talking trucks..........

      Truck is not HO.

      '93 T-Bird (phased in during '93 model year) and '93-95 Cobra shared the F3ZE-CA cam. .282/.282 270/270
Mustang Mark and 1991-1992 T-Bird HO shared the same .278/.278 276/266 cam. The ramp profile was "softened" starting with 8/8/88 build date. The HO cam changed part numbers at least 4 different times due to minor updates.

Hm, the 93 Turd 5.0 has the Cobra cam? Hmm, I might know where one of those is actually. When that motor comes apart I'll have to check out what cam its got.

The HO is supposed to give more HP than the Cobra cam. The Cobra cam was supposed to give more torque. The 93 T-bird 5.0 was not a turd. The car is heavier than the Fox Mustangs were. You can't expect the same performance from the same engine in a heavier car. That is why the '94 GTs slowed down...... weight.

I didn't mean anything specific by calling it a turd, I refer to most tbirds as turds, just a nickname like the ford tampon, mercury mistake, etc. And actually it was a 92 Couger motor, so no dice either way.
