I dont have no way of making that my vacume sorce so I was woundering if someone might no how to make one of the small holes coming out of the intake my vacume sorce for my vacume tree After that i will be rolling!

First off Big thanks to Thain and Tom on this wiring today hehehe. I actualy done alot better then i thought i would have with it though today.




So, heres the update :P


Got the cruise deleted.

Got the noodle/Cfi wiring harness deleted.

Got most of the smog shit hoses deleted.( Not sure about ufo/flying saucer cant find where it goes somewhere under the umm. battery.)

Got. Igniton module bolted on.

Got my ignition wired up

Also i gave the fender wells a quick clean with a rag and wd40


I think thats it for today. hehe

All that is left is the vacuums and wiring up the fuel pump :P

O yea. And i ajusted my throttole. I now can aquire wot with my pedal. :P I woldent have been able to have done this had i not talked with p71 the other day about the throttole cable and how it can be ajusted. Ima actualy try to move it just a hair more. so im 100% sure i got wot.

And i set my tv pressure to WOT max Had it at WOT and then i made my allen screw holder go as far as it could on the line.

Ok, Today i didnt get much done. Realyl didnt have much daylight to get anything done.

What i did get done however was the pump wiring. Yes shes justa thump thump thumping :P woohoo.

I also learned how to solder :P God i wish you could solder them spade connector things.

Sooo anyways. I was woundering. is there a way to mount it somewhere else like say the drivers side fender well? Or is it okay if not all of the bolts are on?

Do like they did in '86 and put it on the passenger fender well. I think there are holes for it already, if not, drill some holes and just bolt it on, that it, if the housing for the coil is the same as '86. You'll also need a longer coil wire.

I wanna say that that's the canister purge stuff. any of that stuff, leave it alone. You'll need that so you don't have pressure in the gas tank. That removes the gas vapors and keeps them in the car, so they don't get released into the air, and it sends it in the engine to be used as fuel.

Well it was part of the map shit So needless to say half of it got trashed. I got the can pluged up to my tree though along with what it's teed to which im not sure where that wire goes to... Humm.

Alright, well mine is set up like this, there is a canister with two under the battery box, a hose that goes to a solenoid, electrical feed, and one that connects to a metal pipe which goes to the gas tank.

mmm, that pipe you speak of the meteal one. does it come out from the drivers side rear of the engine? If so then i gotta plumb it to. durnet.


OO, and i forgot to mention what all else I got done last night. No i wasnt happy with just the litle bit i done. Anyways i got like 6 coats of liquid spray tape on my bare wire. Got a new heater hose on. Got my plug wires hooked up. UmmHeck i cant rember all of it.

Anyways i got about 3 more hours of stuff done .

Now to just get my wires tight. And clean my engine bay back up and stop that huge hole up on the back of the intake hehe.

( Also woundering if i shold waight to change my rad fluid untill i turn the motor over?)

Shes alive . Had a bit of a time with her.

Timing musta been off a bit. I ajusted it. She fired right up. However i have a exhsaust leak one of them blocking plates i made a whille back must not be postioned just right. Ton of exhsaust shot out of it. But hell hehe. Muhahaha

Also for some reason im missing like 2 qts of oil. Must be due to me useing one of them meteal plugs. o well no sweat on that ill just buy another couple qt's of oil :P..

Very few minor things left mang :P
