I may go with a 302 instead, a friend of a friend can get me a 302 block for $50-$75. Then after machine process...I don't even know how much machining costs average...
I am gonna need help from you guys choosing shit for this motor too :p.
If budget is a concern, find a low-mile 1997-up Exploder or Mountaineer 5.0, and add Ford Motorsport shorty headers. That's Scott's modus operandi for most of the CV's rolling through his shop nowadays....and it's a great idea, considering how cheap some of these engines are getting nowadays....
