Sorry for bringing up stupid n00b crap again.
Ok, my muffler is starting to sound kind of unhealthy. I want to do a dual exhaust upgrade but it's out of my $$ range ATM
I did, however, find a flowmaster 40 series for a steal of a price. What is there from the stock Y pipe back? Does it go straight into the muffler? I want to basically replace everything from that back with the intent of putting in an H pipe at a later date and buying a mate to the flowmaster.
Guy says 'inlet is 3" the outlets are 2 1/2"' - what else would I need to buy? I'll need a tailpipe obviously (straight or down or side, it doesn't really matter to me). I'll go with a 2 1/2 tailpipe to match obviously, but, I doubt if the stock pipe in there is 3", so how would I get that flowmaster to fit in there?
Also, guy said outlets....does that mean this is a muffler for that faux dual exhaust? I don't know if I want to go that way..
