That tail pipe doesn't have crinkle bends.

    Interesting.

It does have some light compression bends, however.

The wagon's dynomax's sound great. Then again it has nothing but 2" pipe from the headers to them.

One word, JUNKYARD....I've switched two CV's ( 91 & 97) over to duals and every bit of it came from the local pull-a-part except for one car that got new flowmasters. But everything else "H" pipe, tail pipes all hangers and two mufflers are stock Ford and perfect. That original stuff was pretty good quality. I did buy new insulators though. That original stuff just fits better.

well i got the other tailpipe and ten i ran into my local Auto Store and they had 2 Thrush Welded Mufflers just in the correct size and offset positions so i picked them up. For both of them it cost me only $50. Also picked up another hanger for the other tailpipe.

well just got today my new Walker Cats and air hose tube kits.

The only problem is i can't even budge the bolts off the old cats. I sprayed them numerous times with Roast Off.

                Any Ideas

take some heat to the nuts.

question. What are these cats bolting up to exhaust manifold wise?

I know that! The ends just looked similar to how mustang h pipe ends are as in bolting to headers not stock exhaust manifolds. Was just curious if these where just simple stock replacement cats.

Cool Cool. If the old nuts dont come out with rust penetrant you are definitely gonna need to apply heat.
